"My Body is Art" is the First book by photographer Ashley Fenison. Ashley Fenison is an accomplished photographer and artist who has made a significant impact in the field of body inclusivity photography. With a unique perspective and a passion for celebrating all bodies, Ashleys work has challenged traditional beauty standards and redefined the way we perceive beauty and self-acceptance.
Being plus size her whole life, Ashley developed a deep appreciation for the diversity of human bodies and the
stories they tell. She recognized early on that mainstream media often perpetuates unrealistic ideals of beauty,
leaving many individuals feeling inadequate and ashamed of their bodies.Determined to change this narrative,
Ashley dedicated herself to capturing the raw, authentic beauty of all body types in their natural form by
celebrating all those textures, rolls, marks etc and to help shine a new, accepting light on our bodies and how
we see ourselves. That was the goal of this photo book to show that all bodies are art.
